Outreach Weekend Report -
March 30-31, 2007
Weekend Summary
Thank you all for participating this weekend. You guys were such a great group for my last ESLARP trip, and by the complements I'd heard over the weekend, we really impressed the members of both East St. Louis and Brooklyn communities. Here's a quick summary of what was accomplished: SENDO, ESL-neighborhood cleanup Opal's House, ESL-interior painting, woodwork polishing, and carpet removal Eagle's Nest, ESL-outdoor cleanup Lessie Bates Center,ESL-sorting items from a shed and interior painting Dunham House, ESL-sorting and archiving Ms. Dunham's possessions Quinn Chapel, Brooklyn-Yard Cleanup and interior painting Southern Tabernacle Church, Brooklyn-Yard Cleanup and Baptismal Pool painting Lovejoy School, Brooklyn-Cleanup and trash removal around the school grounds ARCH 401 Class-Park Assessments in East St. Louis So in conclusion, nice work to you all! And since our group was all over the place, I did not get a chance to get to all the sites to document our awesomeness. So if you are willing to share, I'm looking for any cool photos you may have taken.
