Decentralized Nodes with Emphasis on Adaptive Re-use

East St. Louis - Lansdowne Neighborhood
CORRIDORS PARKS MISC. DESIGN HOME
Jones Park is one of the largest parks in the East St. Louis area.  It is also a major feature of the Lansdowne Neighborhood.  Some of its key features include a pond, gazebo, track, and several baseball diamonds.  Our primary goal is to re-use most of the existing features in the park while introducing several new amenities.  Our idea for Jones Park includes a more orderly system of walkways throughout the park, as well as a link to the Metrolink station and the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center.
