- How do you compare the safety of your street to other streets?
- What aspects of your street make you feel safe?
- What aspects of your street make you feel unsafe?
- Do you drive a car or take public city transportation?
- Where do you feel most comfortable parking your car?
- What bus stop do you catch the bus at
and do you feel safe walking there?

- How aware are you of the activities of the other residents on Washington Place?
- Would you be interested in a neighborhood watch program that would increase the safety of your
street?
- Would you be willing to be a street leader? (This includes coordinating: street meetings,
activities, community involvement in revitalization of street, notify residents of what's going on.)
- Would you utilize a park of single lot size if it was located on Washington Place? How?
- Would you participate in the installation and upkeep of the park?
- What do you use the alley behind your house for?
- If we were to eliminate the alley in order to increase safety by eliminating the public access to
your back yard, this would increase the size of your backyard at no cost to you. Would this
interest you?
- How much would you be willing to spend to expand your backyard enclosure ($0, $10, $20, $30, $40, or $50)? (This would cover the cost of fence material--labor would be provided.)
- How much time do you spend on your front porch?
- How much time do you spend working in your yard (front or back)?
- If you had $50 to spend on your house and yard what would you spend it on?
- What do you like most about your house and yard?
