Community Space Plan
This is a schematic design of the central community space.  Some of its features include a formal gathering space and dining room, a main desk,
kitchen, and access to both the independent and assisted living portions of the facility.  The formal common space will provide appealing areas for residents to meet with outside guests and observe the action within the lobby.  The mailboxes are prominently located, in order to encourage interaction between the residents.  In addition, the community dining room will also promote communication.  A main desk will provide security and assistance for the residents.

Floor Plan model for independent apartments
This plan is a rough outline of what each independent apartment would offer.  As discussed in elevations each apartment has a shared patio and independent access to the street.  Each bedroom offers a view onto the front yard and/or street.  Adequate space is offered for storage, a small kitchen for preperation of small meals and a sitting area for tv or other leisure activities.  A private bathroom offers a roll-shower for wheelchair accessibility or a bathtub/shower combination.  The plan above is a set of mirrored apartments, each one bedroom.  The plan below features a set of apartments: a studio apartment version for smaller budgets or residents who simply need less room, and conversely, a two bedroom model for couples or single residents who would like to have extra space in the form of a guest bedroom, den, or office.
