SITE PLAN This site plan shows the overall
characteristic of the elderly housing facility. The design incorporates
a large community space in the front of the building which can accomodate
children from the day center and bordering neighborhood. The residents
spoke strongly of creating a space where the children of the neighborhood
can gather, as well as offering the residents some pleasant views.
The entrance to the building is located on the corner of 22nd and Market.
Formal garden rooms are available for the residents to enjoy.
Some of the amenities of the gardens include a pond, shuffle board court,
spaces for individual gardening, and a deck for outdoor eating and barbeques.
