Elderly housing should b a place to live out the rest of one's life in happiness, and dignity.  Outdoor space will be an area for interaction between many different groups of people, Children, parents, elders, and friends; with lush plantings, places to sit sun and shade, activities such as gardening, to create a place to find a sense of one's self.  As one moves along the corridor into the complex you are warmed by openness, and abundance of sunlight through the room through are windows just like being outdoors.  As you proceed to your room there is a warm and lively atmosphere unfolding before you, people are communicating with each other, dining and having the time of their life.  Next, we go to our room, as the door opens you can see the children playing in park out of your patio doors.  Decidedly, you walk out onto the balcony and immediately hear the sounds of laughter, and trees blowing in the wind.  After a lively day, you decide relaxation would be nice, you step off the patio.  Back inside you find your favorite novel and sit on the padded window still seat under and let the stetting sun warm your back as you read on.
