The site includes prairie, a paved area with planters, and an orchard.
The prairie (orange) offers a nice walking experience, but also keeps sight
lines open. This creates a feeling of safety and community.
The paved area (red) provides a place for activities, including the raised
planters near the assisted living area. There is also a reflecting
pool, which set against the unbroken curve of the community center, makes
for a very serene experience. The orchard (top right) offers a place
for residents to go out and pick fruit and get exercise.
