TSP The Springfield Project:  Cognitive Mapping
Back to backgroud research

The following maps were developed at the March 26th meeting.  Residents identified areas they liked and disliked.

Areas identified as problem areas are designated in red, whereas areas in green are types of areas residents appreciated and would like to see more of.

In this excercise, students and attending faculty acted as facilitators.  Impresssions and facts were diligently recorded for future use.   The information we gathered during this exercise allowed us to identify areas that residents appreciated (which we could look at as a model for future designs), and which areas needed the most work.
