To develop the final designs the information gathered from research and resident feed-back on earlier suggestions had to be brought together into a final product. To better be able to address the many concerns that residents had raised students split into three groups that worked on the issues below. Please follow the links to see the results for these three groups design work.
Safety Concerns for Children and Elderly
Streetscape & Beautification
Community Center & Commercial Development

In addition to the three topics above it was important to demonstrate how these proposals would work together on a neighborhood wide scale. Therefor a master plan for the neighborhood was created:

The presentation of the final designs demonstrated the the participatory approach throughout the process had payed off in that residents expressed satisfaction with the product that was the result of our cooperation.
