Waste Handlers
Another facility dealing with land
contamination is the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. A permit is
required for facilities which generate, transport, store, or dispose of
hazardous waste. In the East St. Louis community eight toxic waste handlers
have been identified by RCRIS:
