The Kriegsfeld
Corporation is a nationally renown team of specialists that will help guide
the East St. Louis Housing Authority in their new dual role: developing
replacement housing for its public housing residents, and creating an untapped
market for moderate and middle income.
The Kriegsfeld
Housing Development Group of the Design Workshop II studio will undertake
a semester long research/design project that will endeavor to create strategies
and plans for the development of housing in the city of East St. Louis,
Illinois. This collaboration project will incorporate two teams with one
common goal; utilizing the resources of East St. Louis to enhance the quality
of life of the city's residents.
