  • The movie theatre/coffee house will be open Thursday through Sunday.  One movie will be shown per night and matinees on Saturday and Sunday.

  • Admission tickets will cost $3.00 per person (all ages) per movie.

  • The area of the abandoned theatre is 3,000 sq.ft.

  • Although abandoned, the theatre is not in complete despair.  Foundation is still sound, but interior will need reconstruction. 

  • To help finance the cost of the project, a Community Development Block Grant Fund will be used.  This grant will be 50% of the initial cost.

  • When figuring workers' salaries, we assumed we would need one full time manager and six part time employees.  The manager will work 40 hours per week at $8.00 per hour.  The part time employees will work 10 hours per week at the minimum wage of $5.15 per hour.

  • All costs incurred while revitalizing the theatre include installation and labor.

  • When figuring the profit of the theatre, we assumed that 50 customers will attend each movie.

  • Outdoor landscape cost will be covered by a grant from the City of E. St. Louis
