It's a somewhat unusual to combine a café and a theatre into one shop.  Used Movie Cafe provides a place for tea-time gathering in the day-time and a place for drink and movies at night.  Used Movie Cafe is located in the historical district of downtown East St. Louis.  The 3000 sq. foot building provides room for 12 tables each with 4 chairs in the theatre.  The lobby will hold 6 tables with 4 chairs each.  The theatre/cafe will hold a total of 72 customers.

The Used Movie Cafe is located in the old, abandoned Majestic Theatre building.  The original architecture was preserved during renovation.  Only minor structural changes were made.  To enhance the sense of community within the theatre/café, art work from local schools will be displayed in the lobby.  The theatre/café is also environmentally friendly by reusing, recycling, and reducing waste.
