Native Bottomland Habitats

for Wildlife Refuge and
Community Education in Hall Park

By Deanna M. Koenigs

This project proposes the creation of native Bottomland habitats in Hall Park. The goals include: developing endangered species habitat, reusing neglected urban land, and educating citizens about the importance of the native habitats and wildlife species that use them. Areas within and adjacent to the park represent different native habitats and an area has been identified for a wildlife preserve.
