East St. Louis Youth Golf Center: Creating New Recreational Opportunities

Several years ago Michael Jordan began developing a nationwide chain of family oriented golf practice centers to expose underprivileged youth to golf. This proposal will suggest the development of a similar golf center for East St. Louis. Project goals will address social, economic, and environmental issues related to golf development. The siting and design of the golf center will incorporate the project goals, and the functional and aesthetic considerations of a golf practice facility.
