NEW VERSION OF EGRETS AVAILABLE
ESLARP launched a new version of its online guide to geographic information about East St. Louis. Visit EGRETS to explore East St. Louis, search for maps, use the interactive map studio, and download data files.

GARDENING GUIDE
In a one day project in East St. Louis, a guide for creating garden beds was created in order to give people their own options to design garden beds on any sized lot. Example designs, plant lists and instructions are included in the guide.

NTAC SUCCESSFULLY RAISES OVER $300,000 IN FUNDING FOR LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS
After only one year of operation as a technical assistance provider to neighborhood organizations and non-profits in East St. Louis, the NTAC has written over $300,000 in successful grant application for eight (8) separate organizations. These funds support community development activities of the Carver Community Center, Emerson Park Development Corporation, Katherine Dunham Centers for Arts and Humanities, Lansdowne Improvement Association, and several emergency homeless shelters.

DUNHAMFEST
Four universities celebrated a legendary dancer's contributions. A collaborative celebration in dance and music was held as a tribute to Katherine Dunham and to benefit the Katherine Dunham Centers for Arts and Humanities. Read more about Katherine Dunham online.

BUILDING OPPORTUNITIES
Master's thesis researches employability and job training issues and provides a construction skills job traning strategy for East St. Louis.

SANITATION CODE VIOLATION STUDY
Student report investigates the relationship between landuse, population density, and sanitary code violations.
