3. Christian Activity Center 540 North 6th Street, East St. Louis, IL 62201 Contact: Chet Cantrell at 618-874-5615 Open to youth and adults, 6 yrs and older (must complete an on-site computer orientation). Open M, Tu, Th 6:30 to 8 pm. 6 computers with Internet access. Training is offered.

4. East St. Louis Community College Center 601 James Thompson Boulevard Contact: James Johnson at 874-8723 Open to ECCC students and residents over the age of 6, M thru F 8 - 4:30pm. 20 computers with Internet access. Computer courses available through South West Illinois College.

5. East St. Louis Public Library 5300 State Street, East St. Louis, 62205 Contact: Mamie Dowles at 397-0991. Open to all residents. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Open M-Th 9-8pm, F 9-4:30pm. 22 computers with Internet access. There is a $0.75 / hour charge.

6. Emerson Park Development Corporation 1405 State Street, East St. Louis, 62201 Contact: Will Jordan at 874-1671 Limited to participants of this organization’s YouthBuild, GED, pre-apprenticeship, and typing program. Open M-F 8:30 -5pm. 15 computers, no Internet access.

Griffin Center This organization has 6 sites in East St. Louis that are open to public housing youth grades K-7, who are participants of the after school program that runs M-F 3 - 5:15. Site 7, 7a, and 7b are open to other residents by appointment during business hours. Contact: Dianne Sonneman at 874-0637.

Just For Kids Youth Development Program 1200 N. 41st, East St. Louis, IL 62204 Contact: Edna Long at 618-874-4818 Open to 4th and 5th grade students of Manners, Mandela, Hawthorn, and Wilson Elementary School Schools, who are participants in this program. There are 7 computers, but no Internet access.

10. Lansdowne Community Center 5103 Bunkum Road, Washington Park, 62204 Contact: Denise Bard at 618-874-7901 Limited to participants of its after-school program. Open M-F 3-5pm for elementary school kids and 5-7pm for middle school youth. 15 computers with Internet access.

11a. Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House 1200 N. 13th , East St. Louis, 62205, Hours: 3-6pm

11b. Day Care Center 1045 State Street, East St. Louis, 6220, Hours: 3-5pm Contact: Mary Tomlin at 618-874-0777 or 618-874-2211 This organization has two sites, which has 17 computers between them, but no Internet access. Usage is limited to participants in its welfare-to-work, GED and after-school programs.

12. Mt. Calvary Community Outreach 1420 N. 49th Street, Washington Park, 6220 Contact: JoAnn McCoy at 618-271-0494 or 618-271-0341 Open to community residents over the age of 6. Open M-F 5-9pm. They have 28 computers with Internet access. 6 week training class available.

13. Neighborhood Technical Assistance Center 527 Washington Place, East St. Louis, 62205 Contact: Andrew Theising at 618-271-9605 Open to community youth M - F from 4-5:30pm and adults from 8:30 am -5:30 pm. 3 computers with Internet access.

14. New Beginnings Out Reach Mission 5415 Cottonbelt Road, Centreville 62207 Contact: Dr. Rose Scott-Lusk at 618-337-1242 Open to the general public by appointment Tu-Sat. 6 week training class offered Mon. from 4-8pm, and an after-school program Tues. 5-7pm. 21 computers with Internet access.

16. Second Chance Shelter 240 N. 6th Street, East St. Louis, 62201 Contact: Linda Thurston at 618-482-5662 Usage is limited to residents of the shelter. 6 computers, no Internet access.

17. Prince Hall Family Support Ctr 4411 N. Newstead Ave, East St. Louis, MO 63115-2534 Contact: 314-877-2257, M-F 6-8pm, all day Sat. Youth and adults, free, Internet on all 30 stations, structured classes available.
