Replicating the ESLARP Model

ESLARP replicated its participatory action model of community planning in two Champaign, Illinois neighborhoods this Spring: Douglass Park and Garden Hills. Urban planning students enrolled in the community development workshop worked with the residents of these two neighborhoods to collect data, determine strengths and weaknesses and develop action plans. the planning effort was funded by the City of Champaign.
