Hello! I am in my first year of graduate studies pursuing a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. I graduated from Purdue University in 2009 with a BS in Environmental Soil Science.

While at Purdue I worked as a research assistant in a variety of labs and was involved in Carbon Neutrality at Purdue. I was also involved in Study Abroad: I completed two agriculture tours and a research internship in Costa Rica; studied agriculture and completed an organic farm work internship in France; and completed a semester at Tec de Monterrey in Mexico. This past summer, I spent a month volunteering on 3 organic farms in England and traveled to Tanzania and Zambia.

In my graduate studies, I’m interested in exploring community food security and sustainable agriculture in relation to landscape. I’m excited to work with ESLARP and study the food resources available in East Saint Louis.
